Leslie Corbly, Fathers Rights Attorney at Jolley & Jolley

Quick Facts

  • Licensed Utah, Arizona, Oklahoma & Tennessee
  • Education University of Oklahoma College of Law (J.D.); B.A. Journalism, University of Oklahoma (Phi Beta Kappa)

Leslie graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a minor in Constitutional Studies. She then earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma College of Law.

After law school, Leslie practiced consumer debtor bankruptcy in Oklahoma before moving to Utah to handle legislative advocacy in digital privacy rights for the Libertas Institute. In addition to practicing law, Leslie has worked at think-tanks defending civil liberties, privacy, speech, and expression. She has written two books, a poetry collection titled Silent Suffering: Poems of Pain & Purpose, and a non-fiction book titled Progressive Prejudice: Exposing the Devouring Mother.

Leslie’s passion for fathers’ rights comes from her belief in the importance of civil liberties and equality under the law. Lady Justice, the embodied symbol of western justice, is blindfolded to indicate that all litigants are entitled to justice exercised without prejudice. Unfortunately, social and cultural biases that presume predation based on gender can frustrate the process of justice. Because the role of fathers is critical to the well-being of children, the fight for fathers’ rights is advocacy for the interests of children.

In her free time Leslie enjoys CrossFit, hiking, playing the piano, and reading or discussing classical literature, history, philosophy, and theology.
